Snowbirds?

New round of shoveling this morning. As usual, when we get a good amount of snow, Kate talks about moving south when we retire. I’m not sure that I want to exchange the occasional shoveling for hot misery in the summer that accompanies a move down south.

I suppose that we could become snowbirds – south in the winter and back up here in the summer. Not sure I’m ready for that, either. It’ll be a discussion – perhaps I’ll push off my retirement even longer than I was planning.
