50 years ago – 50. I remember 1967 – I was 7 for most of the year. Not sure that I would have tagged 1967 as the Summer of Love, but I was 7, doing what most boys did in 1967 – not think about love. The music was great – I was listening to the radio in 1967 and heard many great songs. Until the release of Sgt. Pepper, we mostly thought about music in terms of singles. Many of the songs on this podcast, featuring the songs of 1967, began life as singles that you’d hear on the radio every day.
