Mother’s Day

Happy Mother’s Day to all of the mothers out there. I no longer have a mother, but I still appreciate all of the mothers, and wish them well. I see all of the Facebook posts of sons and daughters from the proud mothers – I know that they will have a great day, but let’s not forget those mothers who won’t be able to celebrate as well.

Anyway, here’s hoping you have a great day. My son works today, so I have to stand in as a surrogate son for my wife: “Yes, dear, whatever you want.” I know that she’ll want to hear some great music, so I’ll have these artist on my podcast today: the Hollies, the Spencer Davis Group, Hunters & Collectors, Sleater-Kinney, the Golden Palominos, Sharon Van Etten, Nneka, Fleetwood Mac, Shocking Blue, the Guess Who, the Turtles, the Who, Iggy Pop, and the Velvet Underground.
