Time for another podcast devoted to jazz. I play a lot of jazz at home, and was surprised how much new jazz I’ve acquired since the last podcast. Coupled with the new stuff is a bunch of classic jazz that I’ve been listening to as well. I’m in the process of “digitizing” my CD’s onto my computer – I was doing that to LP’s and cassettes, but something’s happened there and I can’t get a signal from my stereo to my PC. Instead I’m focusing on my CD’s, then one day I’ll get ambitious and trace the problem and fix it so I can return to digitizing my analog catalog. Recently I’ve been focusing on digitizing more of my jazz collection, and some of the tunes are a result of that work.
